Vena cava inferior agenesis recognized by incidentally in a patient under cholecystectomy

Abstract:Inferior Vena cava (IVC) agenesis is a rare congenital anomaly, which may cause significant consequences with regard to morbidity and mortality. In this case report, a patient diagnosed with IVC agenesis which was seen intraabdominal intensive venous collateral during surgery for cholecystectomy is presented.
