Abstract:Background:
Ventriculoperitoneal shunts (VPSs) are frequently employed in neurosurgery to treat hydrocephalus, with a particular focus on pediatric patients. Although VPSs are commonly utilized, they are not exempt from difficulties, such as shunt extrusion.
