Abstract: Rabbit and thrombastheinic platelet membranes were examined by SDS polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis. Both rabbit and thrombasthenic platelets failed to spread on siliconized glass surfaces and revealed platelet membrane glycoprotein patterns quite different from those of normal human platelet membranes.
