Abstract: We conclude that radiation exposure does not correlate directly with fluoroscopy time. Technical refinements of the digital technique such as Last Image Hold frames, which allow images to be stored with no increase in radiation dose and help to reduce digital fluorography exposures and pulsed fluoroscopy, result in significant dose reduction.
