Vestibular Brainstem Dysmorphology in an Animal Model of Autism Spectrum Disorder

Abstract: Introduction ‐ Prenatal exposure to the antiepileptic drug valproic acid (VPA) is associated with an elevated risk of a diagnosis of autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in humans. Accordingly, in utero exposure to VPA is a clinically relevant and validated animal model of ASD.
