Abstract

To achieve the success of any activity, the analysis and use of economic indicators are essential, because through their understanding a significant variable is identified for the economic diagnosis, for the sustainability of the agricultural area and enables the producer to subsidize data to solve his decisions. Thus, the objective of this study was to economically analyze the insertion of soybean cultivated in a rural property in the city of Ipameri (GO). For the economic evaluation of production costs, the concepts of Effective Operating Cost (COE) and Total Operating Cost (TOC) were adopted. To determine whether it was economically feasible to implant the cultivars, the following economic indicators were used: Gross Revenue (RB), Net Revenue (RL), Leveling Point (PN), Profitability Ratio (IL), Breakeven Price (PE) and the Benefit-Cost Ratio (RB/C). The TOC was R$ 5,119.69/ha, with a net revenue of R$ 5,104.89/ha. The indicators showed the results for RB= R$ 10,224.58, BW= 30.47 bags, RB/C= 2.0, PE= R$ 84.12 and IL= 49.93%. These results indicate that the evaluated production process has economic profitability.
