Abstract:We study nonlinear effects of perturbations around a cosmological background in projected massive gravity, which admits self-accelerating solutions in an open FLRW universe. Using the zerocurvature scaling limit, we derive nonlinear equations containing all the relevant terms on subhorizon scales. We find that the solution for a scalar graviton vanishes completely for all scales, which agrees with the linear perturbation analysis in the previous study. In addition, the effects on the gravitational potential du… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
