Vibration analysis of an axially moving multiscale composite plate subjected to thermal loading

Abstract: Abstract. This study investigated the effects of temperature on free vibrations and critical transport speeds of an axially moving multiscale composite plate. On the basis of the frequency-temperature equivalence principle, a linear mathematical model of the moving multiscale composite plate is derived in the complex frequency domain.
