Vibration Reduction on Overhead Contact Rails: a Simulation-Optimization Approach

Abstract: The use of overhead contact rail systems in rail transport has been favoured by the need of having an electrification system that allows its installation where space is limited.The displacement of a train pantograph running through a railway line causes an oscillating movement on the contact line.
