Vibrations of a pipe on elastic foundations

Abstract: A cantilevered pipe subjected to external transverse (or lateral) force is investigated. Two cases of elastic foundations are considered: rotational and both linear and rotational. The major findings are the variations in frequency with flow velocity and displacements at different points and times.
