Video-assisted left ventricle mass removal

Abstract: A 52-year-old male with congestive cardiomyopathy was admitted for stroke. Transthoracic echocardiography revealed a massive left ventricular mass suspected as a tumor ( Fig. 1+ Video 1).The patient underwent emergency surgery for mass removal by video-assisted port-access surgery (Fig. 2).Histological analysis demonstrated thrombus but no tumor.
