Vietnam's Politics as a Factor of Peace and Stability in the South China Sea Dispute

Abstract: The article examines the key role of Vietnam in shaping the situation of stability and security in the conflict area of the South China Sea. It is shown that today it is the Vietnamese policy towards the conflict in the South China Sea, based on the non-use of force and the search for solutions to the most difficult problems on the basis of compromise, concentrates the interests of the majority of ASEAN countries.
