Abstract:The paper, analyzing Mirza Waheed's novel The Book of Gold Leaves and Basharat Peer's memoir Curfewed Night, attempts to highlight the violence by Indian military forces in Indian occupied Kashmir and the resistance of common Kashmiri folks.
