Abstract:Albumin, a protein produced by liver hepatocytes, represents the most abundant protein in blood plasma. We have previously engineered a liver-targeting adeno-associated viral vector (AAV) that expresses fluorescent protein-tagged albumin to visualize blood plasma in mice.
