Abstract: BACKGROUND

Indigenous people in Canada (First Nations, Métis, and Inuit) experience an increased burden of chronic disease compared to non-Indigenous people. Lack of necessary services and culturally relevant care in rural and remote locations for Indigenous people contribute to this burden.
