Abstract: ABSTRACT:Virtual Dimensionality (VD) is a concept developed to estimate the number of distinct spectral signatures in hyperspectral imagery. Intuitively, detecting the number of spectrally distinct signatures depends on determining the number of distinct bands of the data.
