Abstract: The brown planthopper (Nilaparvata lugens) is the main pest on rice plants. The pest attack causes rice plants to become dry, brownish, and burnt. Brown planthoppers (BPH) can be controlled in various ways, such as by applying the endophytic fungus, Trichoderma asperellum.
