Abstract: Leptospirosis is a prevalent zoonotic disease, caused by bacteria of the genus Leptospira. Leptospirosis frequently leads to hemostatic disturbances, and the severe cases are marked by hemorrhages and low platelet number in circulation, which is associated with the patients' poor outcomes.
