“…Esto es lo esperado, ya que en América Latina y el Caribe, para el 2003, aproximadamente 50% de los adolescentes menores de 17 años, fueron definidos sexualmente activos (25). El número de parejas sexuales es descrito por diversos autores desde 2 hasta 10 parejas (16,(26)(27)(28)(29), siendo en este estudio la prevalencia mayor entre 2 y 3 parejas, y el porcentaje que tomaban ACO, fue similar a lo reportado por Hurtado et al (28), pero inferior a lo referido por otros autores (27,30).
