Recent developments in domains of ambient intelligence (AmI), Internet of Things, cyber-physical systems (CPS), ubiquitous/pervasive computing, etc., have led to numerous attempts to apply ICT solutions in the occupational safety and health (OSH) area. A literature review reveals a wide range of examples of smart materials, smart personal protective equipment and other AmI applications that have been developed to improve workers' safety and health. Because the use of these solutions modifies work methods, increases complexity of production processes and introduces high dynamism into thus created smart working environments (SWE), a new conceptual framework for dynamic OSH management in SWE is called for. A proposed framework is based on a new paradigm of OSH risk management consisting of real-time risk assessment and the capacity to monitor the risk level of each worker individually. A rationale for context-based reasoning in SWE and a respective model of the SWE-dedicated CPS are also proposed.

Con el advenimiento de la Web 2.0, ha surgido un gran énfasis por los productos y servicios digitales. Aquellas personas que no estén utilizando las tecnologías actuales se convertirán en excluidos a partir de esta revolución digital. Los adultos mayores representan uno de esos grupos en peligro de exclusión. En algunos casos, los adultos mayores se han desinteresado en las nuevas tecnologías. En otros casos, sin embargo, las tecnologías no tienen en cuenta las fortalezas y debilidades de los usuarios de más edad que promuevan la capacidad de uso. A partir de las barreras en acceso e interacción que experimenta el adulto mayor, la experiencia de uso puede llegar a no ser agradable y placentera, y terminar por producir un rechazo en el uso de la Internet.En este trabajo se analizan las barreras que el adulto mayor encuentra en la red social Facebook, en base a técnicas asociadas a la Experiencia del Usuario Web (UX). Luego de analizadas dichas barreras, se proponen recomendaciones de usabilidad y accesibilidad que permitan minimizar las barreras identificadas y mejorar la experiencia del adulto mayor.

Abstract. Usability evaluation of Web sites is still a difficult and timeconsuming task, often performed manually. This paper presents a tool that supports remote usability evaluation of Web sites. The tool considers client-side data on user interactions and JavaScript events. In addition, it allows the definition of custom events, giving evaluators the flexibility to add specific events to be detected and considered in the evaluation. The tool supports evaluation of any Web site by exploiting a proxy-based architecture and enables the evaluator to perform a comparison between actual user behavior and an optimal sequence of actions.
