Visible-light-driven photocatalysis of heterostructure Ag/Bi2WO6 nanocomposites and their photocatalytic degradation of dye under visible light irradiation

Abstract: Ag/Bi 2 WO 6 nanocomposites were successfully synthesized by a combination of hydrothermal method and ultrasonic vibration. The phases, vibration modes, constituents and morphologies were characterized by X-ray diffraction, Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, field emission scanning electron microscopy, transmission electron microscopy and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy.
