Visual spatial representation of social and cultural phenomena and its effect on local education: The case of Papua New Guinea

Abstract: This study uses participatory research in spatial anthropology. The aim of the study is to demonstrate the possibilities in using maps in ethnology and anthropology, and to introduce the potential of the interdisciplinary cooperation of cartographers and geographers with ethnologists and anthropologists.
