Abstract: ExtractHypophosphatemia, hyperphosphatasemia, and phosphate diabetes in vitamin D deficiency rickets are considered to be due to secondary hyperparathyroidism. It is still questionable whether hyperaminoaciduria in rickets also may be due to hyperparathyroidism.
