Abstract:The essential oils from the leaves and woods of Cedrela odorata and Dalbergia latifolia were obtained by hydrodistillation and characterized by Gas Chromatography-Mass Spectrometry (GC-MS) method. A total of 10, 39, 72, and 6 compounds representing 97.63%, 99.16%, 95.13% and 99.83% were identified in Cedrela odorata leaf, wood, Dalbergia latifolia leaf and wood respectively.
