There are many examples in northeastern China during the early Cretaceous, including the Xujiaweizi fault depression (Q. S. Cai, Hu, Ngia, & Hu, 2017; Cheng, Wang, Shen, & Ren, 2014; Chi, Yun, Meng, Yin, & Meng, 2002), the Hailaer Basin (Chen, Wu, Zhu, Lin, & Yu, 2007; Cheng et al, 2010; Ji, Meng, Shan, & Zhang, 2011; P. P. Li, Ge, & Zhang, 2010; Zhao et al, 2015), and the Tonghua‐Liuhe Basin (Xue, 1997; Zhou et al, 2020), showing the tectonic‐volcanic events and their influence on sedimentary filling and basin evolution.…”
