Abstract:The idea of employing an Adaptive Fuzzy Sliding (AFS)-operated matrix converter in a grid-connected Wind Energy Conversion System (WECS) for controlling voltage and frequency, with additional support for grid monitoring provided by an Internet of Things (IoT) server. The matrix converter is a power electronic device that facilitates direct voltage and frequency conversion, allowing a variable-speed turbine generator to be connected to the power grid. Matrix converter reliability and efficiency are ensured by t… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
