VP15.21: Feasibility and efficacy of longitudinal strain measurement in fetal heart using two‐dimensional tissue tracking

Abstract

Objectives: Using left and right ventricle global longitudinal strain (GLS) and right ventricle free wall strain (FWSt) evaluate cardiac systolic function in fetuses of mothers with overweight and obese. Methods: 80 patients underwent fetal echocardiography in Tangdu Hospital from June 2019 to February 2020 were included (30 normal pregnant women, 27 overweight pregnant women and 23 obese pregnant women). Regular and two-dimensional speckle-tracking echocardiography (2D-STE) were performed for evaluation of fetal cardiac structure and function. All the echocardiographic parameters were compared among groups.
