Wake-up flooding

Abstract: We present a new technique for overcoming the fundamental trade-off between energy-efficiency and end-to-end packet latency pervading all event-triggered wireless sensing applications. Instead of applying popular synchronous or pseudoasynchronous protocols, we leverage state-of-the-art wakeup receivers to facilitate purely asynchronous rendezvous.
