Abstract:Wallenberg's Syndrome represents 36 % of strokes in the brainstem. It is due to occlusion of the inferior cerebellar artery, affecting structures found in the cerebellum and the lateral part of the medulla oblongata. The main risk factor is atherosclerosis.
