Warning Messages in Crisis Communication: Risk Appraisal and Warning Compliance in Severe Weather, Violent Acts, and the COVID-19 Pandemic

Abstract: BackgroundIn crisis communication, warning messages are key to informing and galvanizing the public to prevent or mitigate damage.
