Waste from Biomass Combustion - Lightweight Aggregate

Abstract

The paper describes the possibility of using slag and bottom ash from biomass combustion in the building industry. On account of the problematic use of slag and bottom ash usage as a component of concrete mixture due to its chemical composition, the sintered lightweight aggregate based on this material was produced and tested.
