Abstract:Pharmaceuticals are a major class of contaminants of emerging concern for wastewaters and natural waters alike. Among pharmaceuticals, antidepressants are the most rapidly increasing subclass, as more and more people are dealing with depression in their fast-paced and challenging everyday lives.
