For example, Takei et al [55] obtained a w value near 400 for a porous silica glass from BET measurements at 0°C, which corresponds to an E A -E L value of 13.6 kJ/mol, and Puibasset and Pellenq [56,57] obtained model E A values for Vycor glass that begin at 78 kJ/mole for the initial hydration increments.
