Water‐based Formuation of Inkjet Inks Using Jute Stick‐derived Submicron Carbon Particles

Abstract: Biomass pyrolysis generates significant amount hazardous gases (such as CH 4 , CO, and H 2 ) which are counted as highly environmental pollutants. The utilization of these gases as fuel during pyrolysis could be a suitable choice for protecting the environment. Hence, we pyrolyzed biomass, jute sticks, using a customized pilot furnace, which recycled the generated gases as fuel. We further ball-milled the obtained carbon to make submicron carbon particles. The formation of submicron carbon particles was confir… Show more

“…reactions that occur at or near the electrode surface. These Biomass-generated AC has exceptional supercapacitor efficiency because of its distinct structural characteristics and large surface area, especially when obtained from economical and sustainable sources like jute sticks [129][130][131][132][133][134][135][136][137]. Through a two-step pyrolysis method, as seen in Figure 1a, Shah et al…”

“…Researchers are currently shifting their focus towards electrocatalysts that possess carbon or carbon‐free based, carbon‐metal‐based, only metal‐based, and transition‐metal‐based properties. This is due to their inherent characteristics, ease of modification, environmental sustainability, and affordability [75–77] …”
