Abstract:In order to understand the water quality of five selected fresh water lakes of Bhandara district, Maharashtra (India), physicochemical characteristics viz. water temperature, pH, electrical conductivity (EC), total dissolved solids (TDS), total hardness (TH), dissolved oxygen (DO),chemical oxygen demand (COD) were investigated.
