Abstract:Major compositions of water-soluble ionic species in particulate matter less than 10 and 2.5 μm in diameter (PM 10 and PM 2.5 , respectively) over the Yellow Sea were collected during the Korea-United States Air Quality (KORUS-AQ) campaign in 2016 onboard the research vessel Gisang 1. The secondary ionic species (NH 4 + , nss-SO 4 2− , and NO 3 −) in PM 10 and PM 2.5 accounted for 84% and 89% of the total analyzed species. NH 4 + was strongly correlated with non-sea salt (nss) SO 4 2− (nss-SO 4 2−) in PM 10 an… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
