Abstract: Monitoring of real-time flow and defects in the vacuum-assisted resin infusion (VARI) process can provide important guidelines for full impregnation of dry reinforcement. A weak fiber Bragg grating array was employed to obtain quasi-distributed monitoring results in real-time.
