Abstract:This study investigates the wear behaviour of a hybrid composite material reinforced with titanium diboride and zirconium carbide in LM13. The ASTM standard is followed for conducting wear tests, utilizing a pin-on-disc setup to assess the wear rate. An empirical relationship is established to predict the wear rate using statistical tool analysis of variance, and the model’s adequacy is checked.
