In this paper the determination of temperature and stress distribution in the coating material and in the cutting tool was carried out on a basis of model of thermal and stressed state of cutting tool and machined material where the thermal balances in the chip (machined material), coating (hardened layer) and in the tool body are investigated with the appropriate boundaly conditions. This approach provides a possibility to determine parameters required for calculation of cutting tool wear, to determine its theoretical wear ,$e, to estimate a probability of elastic chipping of cutting tool edge and the probability of its dimensions change due to the creeping. The plasma-machine work is a machine work of structural materials with padding preheating for score of operation of a plasma jet near to a cutting zone. The laser-machine work is a machine work of structural materials with a padding heating for score(account) of operation of a laser bundle. The machine work with cooling up to cryogci:~ temperatures ("cryogenic" cutting) is a processiiig of structural materials, cooled up to cryogenic temperatures. Will usually be utilised at processing over viscous materials. The majority of materials used in a modem aeronautical engineering are intractable. The workability depends on physicochemical properties of materials and conditions of processing. The structural materials having high hardness, low thermal conductivity having a significant amount carbide and intermetallide of inclusions, having high viscosity both prone to adhesion and diffusion with tool materials are badly handled by cutting. The special handicapping are represented by processing difficulty doped of austenitic heatresistant steels and alloys on chrome-nickel-cobalt to a bottom, and also alloys on the basis of wolfram and molybdenum. The different alloying units ;ender considerable influencing on wear of cutting tools: Increase of carbon content: the quality of processing is enriched, since the hardness of steel increases, but the wear of the tool is incremented.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
