“…Las definiciones que se han ofrecido de la Web 2.0 se sitúan en diferentes visiones que por lo general podemos encuadrarlas en filosófica, social y tecnológica. Más que ofrecer una definición creemos que es más interesante aportar lo que podrían ser sus características distintivas, apoyándonos en diferentes autores (Castaño, 2013; Castaño, Maiz, Palacio, & Villaroel, 2008; Frankin & Van Harmelen, 2007; Genís, 2007; Navas, 2012; Palomo, Ruiz, & Sánchez, 2008; Prendes, Gutiérrez, & Castañeda, 2015) señalamos las siguientes: la consideración de la web como plataforma, aligera la programación y la composición, tendencia hacia los contenidos abiertos, herramientas sencillas y amigables, no se limita a un solo dispositivo, intenta aprovechar la inteligencia colectiva, el usuario es el protagonista y promueve el intercambio de contenidos.
