Weight Distribution in Reaming While Drilling BHAs

Abstract: Reaming while drilling (RWD) in general means to simultaneously drill a pilot hole and open it up to the target diameter at the same time. This could be done using an eccentric reaming device or an expandable concentric underreamer; both are called reamer in the following. In RWD assemblies the weight applied to the BHA is distributed between the bit and reamer.
