Weight stigma, welfare stigma, and political values: evidence from a representative British survey

Abstract: Background: Obesity-related stigma is increasingly recognised as a public health issue, with implications for the mental and physical health of people with and without obesity. However, very little is known about what drives inter-individual differences in obesity-stigmatizing views, and how they are distributed in the population.
