Abstract:Introduction: Wernicke’s Encephalopathy (WE) is an uncommon neurological disorder due to thiamine deficiency. Its clinical findings are variable steering its high incidence postmortem. Seldom, thiamine deficiency is present in a clinical triad consisting of cognitive disorder, ocular abnormalities and gait ataxia.
