Wettability of Shales as Petroleum Reservoir Seals

Abstract: SUMMARYConventional surface methods, such as contact angle measurements, are combined with petrophysical probes, including nuclear magnetic resonance and broadband dielectric spectroscopy, to understand wetting mechanisms in clays and shales.
