Reviews the literature on educational psychology. Nine text books have been discussed. Starch's book discusses the native equipment of human beings, psychology of learning and learning as exhibited in the various elementary school subjects. 17 monographs dealing with fields of measurements and the problems in educational measurements have also been reviewed. Experimental work on (1) various forms of mental activity like emotions, learning, memory,transfer of training, and reasoning, (2) educational problems like academic guidance, adolescence, characteristics of children, distribution and correlation of abilities, educational diagnosis, (3) elementary and high-school subjects like algebra, arithmetic, art and drawing, and biology, has been focused upon.
