The peculiarities of the educational process organization during the training of masters of engineering and technology students on the «Project management of construction of bridges and overpasses on highways» and «Digital construction» majors at the industrial academic department «AO-Mostostostostroy-11» of Tyumen Industrial University are considered. The disciplines studied by master students of these majors are briefly summarized. A rather representative list of graduate qualification works topics, defended by master students, with the indication of publications in journals from the Higher Attestation Commission list on these topics is given. There is a final qualification works list of topics offered to master students who entered the Master’s program in this 2023 year. Efficient organization of master’s students training was possible due to the joint work of «AO Mostostroy-11» with Tyumen Industrial University and invitation of scientists and teachers, known for their works among bridge-builders in Russia and abroad, for master’s students training. In the process of master’s students training, there are guided tours being organized for master’s students to the structural subdivisions of «Mostostroy-11 JSC», all of them participate in scientific conferences, and also with the support of «Mostostroy-11 JSC» get acquainted with modern achievements of the construction industry at the international construction forum and exhibition «100+ TechnoBUILD» in Yekaterinburg.
This situation with training of highly-qualified personnel is not observed in all universities. Despite the great shortage of bridge-building specialist, for some reason nobody pays attention to the huge deficit of qualified teachers of bridge (and not only bridge) engineering in universities, which is explained by insufficient financing of the academic staff in regional universities. The management of «Mostostroy-11 JSC» correctly assessed its needs in highly qualified personnel and made unique efforts to create a basic department and to invite and create conditions for effective work for teachers.
