Abstract:Schizophrenia is a highly heterogenous disorder with substantial interindividual variation in how the illness is experienced and how it presents clinically. The disorder is composed of primary symptom clusters—positive symptoms, negative symptoms, disorganization, neurocognitive deficits, and social cognitive impairments.
