Abstract: BACKGROUND The aim of the current study was to assess the influence of maternal weight gain in different clinical gestational conditions on the child's weight at pre-school age. METHODS longitudinal observational study of a prospective and controlled multiple cohort of 372 mother-child pairs from 2011 to 2016 in three hospitals in Porto Alegre (Brazil).
