Abstract:Background Aspirin-exacerbated respiratory disease (AERD) is a chronic condition characterized by the presence of asthma, chronic rhinosinusitis with nasal polyposis, and sensitivity to aspirin and other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs.
