When incubators evolve: new models to assist innovative entrepreneurs

Abstract: This paper presents a brief background on business incubators, a historical context across three time periods, business characteristics culled from literature and relevant research findings and its implications. Emerging new models are illustrated with a practical working example of how innovation and entrepreneurship intersect. It ends with conclusions.
